Tommy Lee is waging war with an internet impostor posing as the drummer on a dating website. The Motley Crue rocker's picture has been posted on singles site MillionaireMatch.com with the username d33pthr0at. His details are listed as, "Caucasian, drummer, 46, has kids, smokes and drinks regularly, travels a lot... and is rich as can be." The ad continues, "WHAT UP BEAUTIFUL BUNNIES. I'M TOMASS, LOOKING FOR HUNNIES TO PARTY WITH, MOSTLY WEST COAST BUT I TRAVEL THE WORLD SO IF YOU ELSEWHERE, WE COULD STILL CHILL." But Pamela Anderson's ex insists the singleton isn't him - and he's fuming. A statement from Lee's spokesperson reads, "Tommy Lee has no knowledge of this website or of this posting." |

Jason Newsted and Burton's Dad to Join Metallica at Hall of Fame Induction |

Metallica have invited the father of their late bassist CLIFF BURTON to join them onstage when they're inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame next month (Apr09). Ray Burton will take the stage with the current Metallica line-up and Jason Newsted, the bass player who replaced his son in the band, when they're honoured in Cleveland, Ohio on 4 April (09). Newsted, who quit the band in 2001, admits he was thrilled when drummer Lars Ulrich called and asked him to be a part of the induction ceremony - and then perform with his former bandmates at the event. He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I think it was just a hard-and-fast rule... anyone who has recorded on any Metallica recordings that have been released to the public as an official release were invited to the induction. "I talked to Lars, and it’s all good. I was happy to hear from him. I hadn’t talked to him for a long time, so it was nice to hear his voice. "It was basically as if no time had passed, as far as the conversation went. We picked up right where we left off. It was just absolutely positive. It was like, there we were, getting ready to get a beer some place. And Lars is ready to rock. He sounded like a kid again talking about the induction, and I felt pretty much like that, too. Getting fired up to rock after that many years... it’s pretty special.” |

Osbourne's Home Becomes An Upscale Dog Pound |

Sharon Osbourne's dog love is getting out of control - the rock matriarch now owns 18 pooches. And the constant yapping and dog poop is stressing rocker husband Ozzy out. He claims his wife picks dogs up from the local pound in Los Angeles whenever she's in the neighbourhood. He says, "I've got 18 dogs now... We get them from the pound now. When I get home it's like I've got four new dogs." And Sharon admits she has become an upscale dog guardian for strays in Los Angeles. She adds, "Word's got out in Los Angeles: 'Anybody (who) finds a stray dog, call the Osbournes, they'll take the dog.'" But Ozzy is far from happy with the arrangement: "She's a soft touch, I have to pay the bills... In the morning, it smells wonderful in my house. That morning breeze; get a lung full of that, it kicks you off for the day... They still crap in the bedroom." Bonus: Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne joined On Air with Ryan Seacrest in-studio for their new FOX TV show Osbournes Reloaded. Download Podcast below! |

2 Year GN'R World Tour for '09 or Not? |
Wednesday, 31 December 2008 22:19 |
An article reports guitar player Richard Fortus says, Regardless, late March should bring the '09 Guns N' Roses Tour He said it will likely last at least 2 years.
Reports are now revealing... Fortus, calling it selective hearing! Fortus is now quoted as saying... "OK, it seems that I am being misquoted once again. I never said that GN'R would be playing St. Louis, nor did I say that we will be doing free shows or that we are starting a two-year tour in March! Selective hearing. Never said it." This isn't the first mention of an '09 tour in the works for the new GN'R. Back in October another article mentioned that a source close to G N’ R revealed expectations of a 2009 tour as well.. So... Who freakin' knows!!! One thing worth pointing out... If they could make something of this March '09 start date, It would put GN'R in a position to headline many huge festivals on both sides of the Atlantic. While no official word on tour dates/ tickets being released at this time, we still remain optimistic that soon we will get our GN'R fix! more GN' R stuff |
